One’s senses eventually grow accustomed to the environment in which one is living.  So when I woke and quickly identified the green of dawn, I simultaneously smelled what appeared to be sulfur.  ”The green sulfurous dawn,” I heard myself asking.  But it was not a pleasant feeling.
